We offer both morning and afternoon sessions with combinations available to suit individual requirements.  see term dates. We accept funding for two year olds who meet the Hertfordshire County Council Criteria.

All 3 and 4 year olds already receive 15 hours a week of free early education (FEE). Woodlands is also offering 30 hours FEE. Please check if you are eligible for 30 hours of free early years education by clicking on: www.childcarechoices.gov.uk  

Parent can continue to get these types of support at the same time as 30 hours FEE:

  • Universal credits
  • Childcare vouchers or salary sacrifice schemes
  • Childcare grants or bursaries


  • Fully qualified and highly trained staff enable us to offer higher staff:child ratios than Ofsted's statutory requirements.
  • We operate a waiting list for children not yet 2 years old. Once they are 2 they may begin Nursery as soon as a place becomes available, they are not restricted to starting at the beginning of term.
  • We provide the best possible start for your child's future by promoting self-awareness and an willingness to learn, with opportunities to explore and try exciting new experiences. Each child is treated as an individual and their unique needs are catered for.
